Cash Accountability
Every day, your cash has to make a long journey from the customers’ pockets to your bank account. There are many people who have access to that cash and many opportunities for loss to occur. So, how do you know that the money coming back from the machine is really what the consumer put in? How do you ensure that your are getting an accurate accounting?
EASITRAX Cash Accountability system enables you to use three different methods to ensure that you keep your cash:
Traditional Manual Meter Reading – Your driver reads the Cash Sales meter and manually enters that data into his handheld computer. At the end of the day, all sales data is transferred from the handhelds into your back-end EASITRAX system for analysis.
Automated DEXing – Your driver plugs his handheld computer directly into the DEX jack to pull out an electronic audit of cash activity for the vending machine such as “Bills to Stacker” and “Coins to Box” data. This data eliminates manual errors or driver manipulation of data.
Product Accountability – Your driver can either do a manual inventory or get automated DEX data to find out how much of each product was sold. By multiplying the products sold by the unit price you can determine the amount of cash that should have been collected.
